| Messaging |
Employee Messaging - The optional Messaging Module allows you to give
employees messages from the software to the terminal. Messages can be anything from seeing
the employee name displayed when they punch to telling them what job to work on. Global
message assignment to employee first initial and last name makes set-up a breeze. Messages
are limited to 16 characters. |
| Auto-Poll/
Auto-Reporting: |
Provides scheduling of clock polling and
reporting. An unlimited number of routines can be set to poll the clocks and or generate
reports on a weekly schedule at specified times. E.g. poll the clock(s) each day at 6:00
am and print a "Missing Punch" report for yesterday. At 8:00 am poll the clocks
and print a "Who's In" report. |
| Job
Costing |
Provides an additional three levels of
employee hour tracking, besides the standard department level. Level names (including
department) are set by the end-user can be up to 15 characters. They can be cost centers,
job titles, jobs, products, operations, tasks, customer numbers, whatever you desire. Each
level also consists of a code that can be defined as being either numeric (up to 9
characters) or alphanumeric (up to 10 characters). Each level code entry also
consists of a name up to 30 characters. Additionally, Quantities (both accepted and
rejected) and piece rate wages can be entered and tracked. Each level entry can have
a piece rate associated with it or each employee can have a piece rate for each level they
might work. Used in conduction with bar code wands at the clock terminals, collecting job
cost data may be easier than you think. Level hourly and level wage reports can be taken
to report hours across most any date range, can include any one or all levels of tracking,
and can be grouped in any order desired. |
| Input
Validation |
The optional Validation Module helps
eliminate the input of bad data. In the software, you define the valid department, job,
step, or operation numbers. When the employee keys in a bad number at the terminal,
"INVALID ENTRY" is displayed and the employee is prompted to re-key the number.
In addition, a description can be displayed at the terminal to further strengthen the
validity of entered data. Description at clock is limited to 16 characters. |
| Profile
Lockouts |
The optional Profile Lockout Module
helps TA200 pay for itself in only a short period of time. Employees can be locked out
from punching outside their scheduled work time. Early IN punches and late OUT punches are
eliminated. However, supervisors may override the lockout to authorize the extra work
time. Customized messages may be given to the employee as to why they were locked out. For
example, "YOU'RE TO EARLY", "NOT SCHEDULED", "SEE
SUPERVISOR", "START AT 8:00AM" |
| Access
Control |
The optional Access Control Module
allows you to define an employee for controlled access. Employees may be limited to access
on certain terminals. With the additional use of the Profile Module, schedules may be
downloaded to each terminal controlling the time-of-day and day-of-week the employee is
allowed access. . |
| Bell
Ringing |
The optional Bell Module allows you to
define bell ringing schedules. Each bell is defined by a day-of-week, time-of-day, and
ring duration. TA200 can ring up to 336 bells, per terminal, per week. An unlimited number
of schedules can be create for winter, summer, special days, holidays, etc. Requires
the clock terminals to have bell ringing capabilities as well.. |
